A fable revisited in modern perspective

The chicken and the hare were at the auditions for the Cadbury Creme Egg Company's Easter commercial. The hare jokingly asked the chicken "Why did the chicken cross the road?" Without letting the chicken reply he blurted out "To get to the other side!" and then began laughing out loud. The chicken didn't pay him any attention, so the hare egged him on. The hare quickly asked. "Which came first the chicken or the egg?" This time the hare didn't have a punch line. Nonchalantly the chicken cleverly clucked in response "THE Tortoise". The hare was embarrassed by his natural pace, but realized the wisdom. Aesop rolled over in his grave. Incidentally the hare, who went by the name "Rabbit", got the part of a clucking bunny.
